2013 Ford Edge offers a four-cylinder EcoBoost as an optional premium machine. Fuel economy is expected to increase anywhere from 10 to 20 percent. The front-wheel-drive V6-powered Edge rated at 19 miles per gallon in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. With EcoBoost, the numbers have increased by 20-23 mpg city and 30-32 mpg highway. Ford Edge will market the entire family of EcoBoost engines, and in 2013, will offer a variation of this turbocharged, direct-inject engines in 90 percent of the line model in North America. In addition, 2.0-liter V6 3.5-liter and 1.6-liter four-cylinder, and the results mirror one another. Edge 2013 is equipped with new engines Ford EcoBoost 2.0-liter four-cylinder. This looks like a fresh 2011 Ford Edge Limite.

The only difference is the badge EcoBoost outside the rear hatch. Kaif's mother Susanne Turquotte had condemned the people involved with such acts in a press note, "Katrina is aware of the malicious posts that have come up from time to time on the net. That she has kept quiet all his while doesn't mean that she will keep quiet all the time. She's also considering legal options for websites and software applications that tend to draw users using these tactics," reports DNA.
With the Internet menace increasing at an alarming rate, the police officials are unable to prosecute the culprits. A police official told the daily, "Yes, there are several complaints that we have received over the years but the problem is the law doesn't have enough teeth to prosecute the culprit even if we manage to nab them," says a source from the police department.
Buzz is that Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha, who've also been the victim of this nuisance are also planning to take legal recourse.

My give away list is ready

Katrina Kaif look-alike Barbie Dolls will hit the Indian stores on March 20. And the actress has already drawn up a list of people whom she's going to give her first batch of Barbies to. Topping the list is her niece Maya and Farah Khan's triplets Anya, Czar and Diva.

Katrina says, "The first doll will go to my sister's two-and-a-half year old daughter Maya because she is obsessed with Barbie. I'm going to London for a couple of days for work. I'll give her the doll then."

Katrina also plans to give the dolls to her directors Zoya Khan and Farah Khan. While three Barbie dolls will go to Farah's kids, of whom Czar is a huge fan of the actress, Katrina wants Zoya also (Zindagi Na Mile Dobaara)
to line her shelves with her dolls.

There are other tots on the give-away list too. "Kabir Khan's daughter Sairah," says Katrina, "She's just three but sings to Sheila ki jawani with all the words and does the steps too. That's where my real compliment comes from."

Katrina elaborated, "I will  give my doll personally to all my friends in the film industry. Ali Zafar (Mere Brother Ki Dulhan's director) asked me where would he put that doll? But I snapped ” office or home ” everyone should have one doll of mine!" she laughed.

The showdown

The launch of the Katrina Kaif Barbie dolls at stores will be followed by a fashion show and launch of a video introducing the doll. While the initial doll will feature as Katrina the movie star, there are plans to launch her look-alike Barbies in various other avtaars too.

Katrina says, "It's a very special moment for me. It's the first time that an Asian actress has been chosen to feature in the Barbie range. My sisters are more proud of this achievement than of any of my films, which they don't have  much knowledge of. But who hasn't heard of a Barbie doll?"

Bebo omitted from Shahid's guest list

According to the source, Vidya was unwell, so she couldn't make it to the party. If Amrita had prior commitments, Priyanka was busy shooting in the US.

Though Shahid and Bebo have moved on, at least this is what they want us to assume, they are still not cordial to each other.

A source close to Kareena says, "There are some issues that need to be sorted out. Though Shahid and Kareena are amiable to each other in public and wish each other well in life.

Even Kareena wouldn't invite Shahid to her parties so it doesn't matter."

"The actress was in Bhopal spending time with beau Saif Ali Khan during her ex-boyfriend's birthday. So she wouldn't have been able to attend the birthday party even if she had she been invited," the source said.

Jaish-e-Mohammad supremo Maulana Masood Azhar has reportedly joined Malik's list of detractors by issuing a death threat to her for "humiliating Islam and defaming the country" with her  "vulgar" gestures.

Sohail Rashid, Malik's manager, said, "She has been targeted since her entry into Bigg Boss. Her so-called vulgar gestures on the show have been the talk of the media in Pakistan. She got a threat mail in Urdu from Maulana Masood Azhar yesterday and was very worried about it."

"She is an artiste and there is nothing wrong in showing dedication to one's work. She cannot be issued death threats for participating in a TV show in India. Artistes are beyond boundaries," he added.

Veena, who is currently shooting a cricket show for an Indian news channel, recently visited Pakistan. Her parents, who live there, have also been threatened and told they will have to suffer the consequences for their daughter's act.

 

Mallika Sherawat is extremely daring: Jacqueline

Mumbai: Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez, who is starring opposite Emraan Hashmi in Bollywood film Murder 2, is all praise for Mallika Sherawat, the lead actress in Murder.

"I have seen Murder and I loved Mallika's performance. I think she is extremely daring and that's something we can all learn from her," Jacqueline, who was in Mumbai for a promotional event of an energy drink at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), told reporters.

"As an actress, it's so nice to see someone so bold, so daring and so brave and I think that's what she stands for, which is great."

According to reports, the 25-year-old actress will be seen in a bold avatar, doing some intimate scenes with Emraan in the film.

Asked to comment on the film, she said: "When you get into a field like acting, a lot of other things become immaterial. So if the role and the script demands something, you do it."

Jacqueline, who has worked in films like Aladin and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, will also be seen in the sequel of Sajid Khan directorial Housefull.

So is she becoming the replacing queen?

"I don't think it's a matter of replacing anyone. I'm in a Murder sequel, which is a totally different narrative as compared to the original film. And Houseful 2 is also a completely different narrative from its original. It's got a completely different star cast for the girls this time. So it was not a matter of replacing anyone," the actress said.

"When people will watch Murder 2, they'll realize that it's such a different movie. So I don't think that they'll be able to compare even if they want to because both the films are not at all alike. If it was along the same story line or a continuation, then I would understand but here the situation is different," she added.

Jacqueline, who was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka Universe 2006, made her debut in Bollywood in 2009 with Sujoy Ghosh's Aladin. She is happy of finally getting plump projects in the industry.

"This year things are looking a little up for me, which is great because the kind of movies I'm doing now and the kind of work I'm getting, I think I've kind of found my place in Bollywood," she said.
