Is marriage on Rani Mukherjee’s mind?

She may have once enjoyed the undisputed title of B’town’s Queen Bee, but in the recent past, you could be forgiven for thinking that Rani Mukherjee had gone underground.
The former blue-eyed girl of YRF has always been associated with quality cinema, barring a few mistakes in the early part of her career. But after an inexplicable nosedive, Rani emerged stronger at the box office with her brash turn in No One Killed Jessica.
After that, it has again been a quiet stretch for the actress on the professional front. “Yes, I haven’t done any films after NOKJ, but I am now looking forward to Reema Kagti’s Dhuan. It is a film that I am proud of,” says Rani, flashing her million-dollar smile.
Apart from Dhuan (which co-stars Aamir Khan), Rani is also looking forward to another project, details of which are still under wraps. So does this mean that Rani’s focus is back on her first love — films? Rani evinces surprise at the question, saying, “I was always around.”
So reviving her golden career is definitely priority; but what about marriage? The actress admits that she believes in the institution, but is feeling no pressure to commit. “My parents are also very chilled out about it. So no one is pressurising me to settle down,” she says.
