Ayesha bids adieu to singledom, ties knot with beau Farhan

Mumbai, March 02: Sans any filmy hullabaloo and invading media eyes, Bollywood beauty Ayesha Takia and her long time fiancé, restaurateur Farhan Azmi entered holy matrimony as they tied the knot in a simple nikah ceremony on Sunday night. Amid close friends and family the much in love couple swore of their everlasting love for each other in a traditional Muslim ceremony.

Known for keeping a low profile, the dishy duo looked stunning in simple traditional ensemble. Ditching the latest trend of wearing top-notch designer attire, Ayesha made a beautiful bride as she gushed in a heavy gold sharara.

Even though the couple went in for a subtle marriage ceremony, sources tell us that the wedding reception is going to a grand event. With a 5000 plus guest list, the celebrations are expected to be attended by the who’s who of the film industry.

Talking about the wedding, a news daily quoted a source as saying, "It was a simple, private ceremony with only close friends and family being present; around 200 people were present. Ayesha and Farhan's outfits were traditional ones and not made by any designers. While Farhan wore a white sherwani, Ayesha wore a gold sharara."
